What Is This Pnina Tornai Dress? (Approx) How Much Would It Cost?
I saw this dress on Say Yes To The Dress and I am in love with it. I know it’s from past seasons…like 2007/2008, so I realize it’s out of date, but it’s exactly what I’m looking for for my 2011 wedding. The trouble is, you have to be a member of the Kleinfeld website to get more information on the dress, so I just searched via Google Images and found the dress, but there’s no information about what the style number or name of the dress is, let lone the price and where to get it.
I figure it will be impossible to find on the designer site (I already looked) to purchase since it’s from a past season, but I wouldn’t be bothered to buy it from a former bride, and I wouldn’t mind buying a replica, depending on how close it could be to the original. (Now, don’t start in on how replica’s use cheaper fabric and lesser quality, because for some people, that may be true, but I’m not a fabric snob, so it would not bother me).
Anyone have any advice…??

Also..I would love to hear feedback on this dress. I am going to have family as well as friends at my wedding including parents, grandparents, aunts and cousins, and while none of us are a TRADITIONAL or conservative bunch, I definately don’t want to offend anyone. In my opinion, if I can wear a bathing suit in front of these people without offending them, this dress should be acceptable. Am I wrong to assume that?
**Yes I realize a wedding is no place for a bathing suit/bikini, but on any other occassion I would wear this, should I worry about crossing a line BECAUSE of the occassion, or is it acceptable like I am thinking?

This website sells the knockoff of the exact dress you are wanting. I am 100% sure that it won’t be the same quality as you already stated, but hopefully it will help you. Also, bravobride.com has a similar real Pnina for sale, but it isn’t the same one.
ADD DETAIL: Well, the dress is a bit risque for a wedding, which I think calls for a more serious outfit. I think that for the occassion, it is too low cut and the see thru bodice is quite low on the hips (almost down to the crotch- yikes). If you like the general design, I think that a tan or silver liner to cover the stomach and some lace or a silver bow to obscure the boob gap would make it more modest and still preserve the integrity of the design. It would certainly be a fabulous and flashy dress choice!
omg it is georgeous!
I think Kleinfeld still sells the dress (Style 31625304) it since I saw it on their website, but be prepared to pay at least $5,000 for it. They don’t give an actual price, but their price range for that dress is $$$, which means the price is $5,001 and up. If you really don’t care about the quality of the dress and wouldn’t mind buying a replica, you could probably find out if one of those places in China could make a close copy of it.
that is gawjus!
The style number is 31625304. It’s still available at Kleinfeld’s. However, on their site they rate it at $$$, which means $5,000 and up. She only designs dresses for Kleinfeld’s so you won’t find that dress anywhere else, unless it’s used or a replica.
And as for Kleinfeld’s site - it’s really easy to just use a made-up e-mail address. =)
Most Pnina Tornai dresses I’ve seen cost $14,000+. I imagine that one would, too, despite the fact that it’s lingerie and not suited at any wedding except that of a Las Vegas stripper who has golddug her way into the pocket of some rich foreigner.
There are other designers who are making similarly slutty dresses, who are probably more affordable. Or you could just get a corset from Frederick’s of Hollywood, bedazzle it, and attach a tulle skirt.
Really, I could go on all day….
Was that the episode with the girl from Miami with the blond hair who wanted a dress that her daughter would look at in 10 years and say "Mom, what were you thinking?"
That dress (with all the crystals) was 8500, I believe.
Also, occasion does make a difference. You can wear a bathing suit in front of your grandmother at the pool, but not in the mall. I would have to say that this dress would offend the most moderate of parents.
