I have had many problems with my sony dcr hc26 sony video camera that I purchased a few years back. After recording and filming many events I have several tapes that have yet to makes its way into my computer for me to edit them. The problem? This camcorder came with no software (that I know of) and no wires. I tried normal firewires and USBs but my computer and laptop do not recognize anything. I finally searched on other websites, many people had the same problem and suggested the cable sony vmc IL4615 i. link. After researching it and finding two similar ones on ebay. One cost only 2 dollars but it labeled a firewire and the other (which is 20) is a transfer cable. What is the differnce between the two? Anybody run into this same horrible problem with their sony camcorder. I just want to use my SonyVegas and edit! Thanks in advance.

I have an unlimited texting plan with Verizon. I checked out their site and found this:
While traveling in the U.S.,Canada, U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico text messages sent to non-U.S. phone numbers of participating carriers will not be applied against any monthly text messaging allowance and are charged the following:
{content}.25/address sent
{content}.20/message received
Text messages sent to phone numbers in Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico are charged domestic rates per your plan.
My 18 year old brain and I can’t quite determine what this means. The first part is quite clear, but the last statement throws me off. Does that mean that North American and U.S. territories are free to text to?
Please don’t give me any links. I’ve searched through multiple forums and it’s a bunch of people quoting what other people say, which is completely indirect. A simple yes or no with a little explanation would be best.
Thanks in advance<3

I am getting fed up with Ebay! With all of their new rules taking effect, I am getting confused, not to mention mad. No more bad feedback for buyers even if they wait a month to pay, if you DSR falls below 4.3, you get kicked off. I charge the exact amount for what it costs to ship and because some people just mark whatever they feel, my listings are in the lowered (to search) because my shipping DSR is down. Ebay is going off of buyer’s opinion? And in a month, only Paypal, etc will be used???? Some people do not like having their bank info on the internet. Everything that EBay is doing doesn’t even sound legal. I would like to sell on another auction site, does anyone know of a good one? I am not a big-time seller, just a small seller who sells things out of her house, clothes, kitchen access., baby items, etc. My questions are is anyone else fed up with Ebay, is anyone really going to take a stand and go somewhere else, and what are some other auction sites that are okay? Or does anyone else want to rant? LOL Thanks in advance for your answers!

I need these questions answered because I have searched everywhere and I can’t find them. No links please.
- How many people made it?
- How much did it cost to build?
- What year was it built?
Thanks in advance=)

I know one called US Search, but you need to pay to get a background check. I’ve also checked out a couple others, but they all cost money for getting any more than the most basic of information about people. Are there even any that are 100% free?
I also am wondering about the legitimacy of these websites. Where do they get their data from? I’ve searched for my parents and some other adults I know, and I could generally find them (I tried to find myself in it, but minors aren’t included and I’m 17). It seemed kind of weird to me.
One other thing that I’m wondering is why there are multiple "files" (probably not the right word for it) for a single person. For example, my mother has 3 results that show up, and all are for her. Although the names can sometimes be different, some have no middle name, just the initial, or the full middle name. Why is that?
Thanks in advance!

My friend’s mother died today and 2 months ago their house caught on fire and most of their belongs have been destroyed. Her mother has been real sick and when she went to the hospital she was basically unresponsive, so she was not able to ask her any info on her insurance policy. (company name, up to date, contact person) So I was wondering is that info available anywhere to the public. Do insurance companies have to file something with the state? Thanks in advance for your answers.
