I get this call every night, but there is a phone number. Is there any good way to do a reverse lookup of the number and find out where this is coming from?

I’m asking this not for me…. I already know what I was supposed to do and what I really did…. but I want this to be read by as many people as possible so they understand our side of the story.

People love to hate the operators whom they have to call if they want to find a phone number or leave a message. I think it’s probably a fairly world-wide phenomenon.

Well, I’m one of those people and let me tell you what happened to me the other day and then tell me what you’d do.

This wasn’t Directories but a message left for a doctor from a woman who was worried about her husband. She had made numerous calls and had had no response.

I tried to comfort her as best as I could…explained that all I could do was take another msg but I would mark it urgent and that it is sent immediately. I spent more time with her than I would have normally but I was trying to reassure her that everything that could be done, had been done.

Here’s the kicker….it wasn’t a "real" call….it was a test call that the company does to test the service.

It was marked down as "unprofessional", "over-servicing" etc etc. and I had to endure yet another discussion with my supervisor about my work.

Every month we can receive a bonus if we get our work done within certain, prescribed times.

That call cost me to lose some of that bonus.

In one sense, I don’t regret it because I know I’ll probably do the same thing again and the next time, it may be real.

So what would you do?

The gulf between what they want us to do and what the caller expects and/or wants, is enormous and we’re the poor saps drowning in the middle.

So…would you be short, to-the-point (bordering on plain rudeness) and make maybe an extra 0 or more per month? or nice, take the time to make that extra search for a number or be extra nice to someone who’s stressed and NOT get that extra cash?

I get this call every night, but there is a phone number and the name part just says "AKFD". It’s like a jumble. Is there any good way to do a phone reverse lookup of the number and find out where this is coming from?

possibly be defrauding the public and legitimate funeral homes.

I did a search for funeral service providers offering low cost cremation. One of the resulting links from the search took me to the web site for Cremation Options, LLC. I called the number and I spoke with a person who introduced herself as Roe (no last name provided even when I ask her to provide it). Roe presented herself as very helpful, courteous and professional. Roe stated the price they had quoted was indeed accurate however there might be a few extra but minor fees added by the local funeral home. I then had Roe proceed with making the arraignments with a local cremation provider in Wisconsin. True to her word the additional fees for a ME, filing fee and for the death certificates Roe quoted back to me did not seem excessive and were in line with what I had been quoted by local providers. However when I was told that under no circumstances should we contact the local funeral home directly, I became somewhat concerned. However I set aside my concerns and proceeded to setup the arrangements with Roe. Roe went on to state I could call them at any time 24/7 and that everything would be taken care off.

The local funeral home that Cremation Options, LLC had contracted with responded very quickly and professionally. At this point I felt a little more confident that maybe my earlier concerns were unfounded.

However I became very concerned when I was contacted by Roe and was asked to overnight immediately a check for the entire amount agreed to, to Cremation Options LLC 5834 Sterling Rd. Hollywood Fl. 33021.

An Internet search using Cremation Options LLC main phone number (877) 989-9090 pulled up a link to ripoffreport.com. At first I was not terribly concerned because the name of the company being reported was AAA Alpha And Omega Cremation Center. However when I read through each of the complaints, one of them specifically mentioned the names Joe, Roe and AJ as the people they had dealt with. Needless to say this caused me tremendous concern. I then contacted Roe about my concerns and once again she demonstrated a very professional and courteous manner. These people are taking unfair advantage of families who are in distress with the loss of a loved one.

The funeral home in Wisconsin has yet to receive payment and I am just getting the run around on the phone with this ‘company’. Who do I call to get these people to literally ‘pay’ for their actions??!! For similar stories go to ripoffreport.com AAA Alpha Omega

I am trying to find someone who lives in Beverly, MA. I have the person’s name (might be the nickname, not sure), last name and date of birth. I do have the person’s e-mail and phone number but this person is not replying. Worried something might have happened or its just ignoring me.
Is there anyway online, to find that person (phone number is NOT listed).
I know that the person is engineer and had/has a construction company.

we have a small landscaping company and want to put signs
on our truck and direct people to our website. we have a web
site and it hasnt generated a single sale to date—the guy that
put it together for us wants 800 dollars again this year to service us. all it is is a single page with a picture of a display
we had at a trade show with a list of the things we do and
doesnt even have our phone number on it,,also if someone
were to try and contact us there is no way for us to capture
their contact information which i understand is one of the
major goals of a website and that usually happens when
you offer them a free booklet or newsletter,.

what should we do and how much should it cost?

search engines come next.

Well, I don’t really have a way to pay for a people search thing on the internet, so I need a 100% free people search engine where it wont cost me anything to get a phone number or address. Are there are any such websites? Im getting kinda desperate to find my father, so any info would be great!
