My parents don’t like the local high school but they don’t care if I go to it or not. I really don’t want to go to it so I’ve been looking up local Private Schools and my search results haven’t come out to evenly. There are no Private High Schools in my City. This got me really upset so I was looking into RMA (A boarding school my brothers went to about 2 hours away) My parents said no because it’s a military school and cost a lot. I gave up on my search and now after 4 months I’m starting it back up again.

I looked at Boarding Schools that were near me where I can see my family whenever I wanted and that was near my church and local friends. I narrowed it down to 5 schools. The cost range from ,280(lowest) to ,540(highest). My Mom just started yelling at me about how I should have to deal with the local high school even though my brothers have a bad record there and got kicked out.

I really want to go to a boarding school within 30 minute range. But my parents just like to be difficult about it. They complain about me going to the local high school and they complain about me wanting to go to a private or boarding school. I’ve decided that I wanted to go to a boarding school but don’t know how to convince my parents. You can’t be sweet to these people, they don’t buy pity either. I need something really good about boarding schools that will make my parents eagar to ship me to one. Please give advice.
Long story short, how do I get my parents to let me go to a local boarding school?
I’m sorry I should of told you what was up with the High School. I think this is its 4th or 5th year standing. My brothers wern’t kicked out they left of free will and my parents supported them. They then (2 of my brothers) looked for other choices one of my brothers now goes to the American Online School and the other is now in college. I also have another brother going to College in Canada. This upsets me because my parents are putting out thousands for them when they clearly told all of us that they wouldn’t be paying for our colleges. So if they weren’t blowing it all on my two older brothers then they wouldn’t have a problem letting me go to boarding school and paying for it.

I can’t afford the two dollars it costs to find my brother. So, are there any people searches out there w/home phone, address, etc. for FREE?

I’ve looked him up on Facebook as Steven Paul Popp, but since I don’t know exactly what he looks like now, I have no luck. I know his age, where he was before he moved, basic things like that. I know that the result I came across IS him. So…any ideas?

With the digital age, it’s incredibly easy to find information about people. Employers search the facebook profiles of job candidates, etc. But parents can also check up on their kids… so where do you think parents cross the line?

Let me elaborate. I’m 20 years old, in my 3rd year of college. My mother had not met my boyfriend because she was not home, we don’t usually stop by her house, etc. She made a facebook account, told no one about it, and prowled the internet. My profile is private, not tagged in photos posted by others, etc, but she looked through all of my boyfriend’s things. Then looked up his driving record, his parent’s information, basically conducted an entire background check, knew how much his parents, house cost, the location and square footage of their property, etc.

Where do we draw the line between interested/concerned parent, and stalker?
Haha well I do live at home, but I’m very rarely there, being that I work full-time, school full-time, and just not wanting to be home. Never got into trouble as a kid/teen or any of that.
Part of it, I feel, is that she knows it creeps me out, and finds it funny. But it’s still really freaken weird, and just mean that she does it to make me uncomfortable.
Haha and yes I’m aware, I have minimal info on the internet [once it's there, you can't get it back!] but so much is public… I understand being concerned. But when my boyfriend met her, she would ask him questions that I knew full well she already knew the answers to.
Oh, he had already met my father and brother, so it wasn’t an intentional thing that she hadn’t met him.
We’re 20 and 21, both in school.
I pay for college, hence the full-time job. I live at home, but otherwise pay for everything. Insurance, food, medication, etc, saving up to move out.
No ahah there was nothing bad to find.

I had a stalker on myspace who was not someone I knew personally, but she found out my full name because it was part of my myspace url. Then, in a message that scared me to death, she posted my mom’s dad’s and brother’s names. my profile was set to private and I never ever mentioned their names. They don’t come up on a google search either. How did this person find their names? And I am positive it was a stranger, not someone I know.

I wanted to see what information would be available to people and noticed that the company said Sprint when I know for a fact that I have Verizon. So I tried looking up my mom’s number and my brother’s since we’re all on the same plan and theirs come up as Verizon. What gives?
A reverse cell number lookup is putting the number in and seeing who’s number it is as opposed to looking up someone’s name and seeing their number.

If it did belong to someone else, companies really need to change their records! I’ve had this number for 3 years!

My grandfather is trying to find his brother.
He hasn’t seen him in years and I only have his name and a couple of cities his lived in.
Ive tried on google search and have seen all the stupid sites that trick you and make you pay for the info.
