Beneath The Surface

So, don’t go judging someone by the way they appear,
Coz behind every smile & laugh there may be a hidden tear.
No one said life is easy, just like we lived in heaven, there’s hell,
Nobody’s an angel, & guess what? You’re not one as well.
So why search for other’s flaws when you already have your own?
Mind your own life, your own problems & just leave people alone!!
And before you go pointing out fingers, make sure your hands are clean,
Don’t judge a life you’ve never lived or judge sth you haven’t seen.
If you look beneath the surface, you’ll see a broken smile, eyes full of pain,
A loss of someone dear, a goodbye that needed too much strain.
In Every heart, there’s that hidden scar that never seems to heal,
and behind all these lies we tell, is the truth about what we feel.
You can’t really tell whether someone’s smile is fake or true,
Are they happy? Or just trying to cover the pain they’re going through?
There’s always that someone you misunderstood, that line you misread,
At times you didn’t notice someone’s pain, all the tears they’ve shed.

What do "real" people do when they can’t get a job?
For real….. WHAT DO REAL LIFE PEOPLE DO????…..
When they can’t get a job because of negligent hiring laws, borderline illegal BG & credit checks and invasive, nonsensical Facebook searches before you can even get hired for some minimum wage crap job, AND you are being OPENLY DISCRIMINATED AGAINST even applying for jobs because you are a "99-er": someone who’s been unemployed for 99 weeks or more.
Usually companies assume these people have collected UC benefits from states, so they assume these people are lazy, rather than doing the smart thing by TAKING IN MONEY THAT YOU ARE JUST BARELY ABLE TO LIVE ON.
Point is: my 99 weeks ran out Xmas week, 2010.
How do I make a living or even get any sort of money to eat/pay rent?
I can’t get welfare.. I have no kids, I can’t get a fake ID because that’s illegal, I’m an orphan with no family and I have a trespassing FELONY.
What do I do???
What do real people do to afford basic living costs???

@The first responder: Medical billing is out of the question. Most schools that teach this don’t even allow felons to apply. Plus, most start at only /hr and few jobs even require an AA/AS or technical certificate or degree for such a $h!tty job. Link 3: compliance jobs require years of schooling and going into debt for upwards of 0,000 for a masters degree- which it says I need.
NOT WORTH IT.. AND SCHOOLING IS OVERRATED… Lots of people who work at Olive garden have Master’s degrees and are CHOOSING to work at OG because it pays better.

Your story is sad, yes, but at least your sister found work, 10 years ago when this story wasn’t relevant. (Companies didn’t do BG checks for /hr jobs like they do now.)
And I bet she didn’t have a felon– which is the main reason people don’t get hired. Being long term unemployed is perhaps the 2nd biggest factor as to why people don’t get hired, even if they have the work experience.

Is anyone from the UK?
In the UK we do not have "Nestle Pretzel Flipz" those CHOCOLATE SALTED PRETZELS and they cost £5 online for ONE bag of 56g – RIP OFF!
There has been a petition online but the person who started this petition clearly did not do their research; Nestle do not own Nestle Pretzel Flipz anymore.
Therefore I have decided to start my own business on eBay (Type in Chocolate Pretzels into the search bar of eBay). So far I’ve made £100, which has allowed me to buy commission from Deviant Artists and create a website (Which is coming soon) to make the product cheaper – because eBay & PayPal are extortionists!
Now this part is going to be a unprofessional rant, so apologises and you are welcome to skip it!
I’ve been on benefits now for about 6 months because I moved from London to Birmingham, I did have a job, but because Birmingham council and my old housing association took so long in transferring my tenancy agreement (Typically/averagely it takes 6 weeks – they took 4 months) I lost my job, my employers did hold on as long as they could although it was extremely unfair to other possible candidates. Six months later and about 100 CV’s a week later, still no luck, it makes me feel like I’m a crap person, although I know I’m not, it’s just the economy at the moment!
Anyways, if you miss these delicious, moorish, addictive chocolates, please buy from me!
Once I get a few hundred customers (At the moment I have 21 and rising) I’m going to employ other people who are struggling on benefits like single parent families and disabled people to help support their families and help get them off benefits!

Thank you for taking the time to read my plea for help! Hello, I have no PC building experience and I plan to build a gaming computer from scratch. I have already planned out my build and it will cost 00, which is a pretty tremendous investment. So what I want to know is, is PC building really as easy as people say it is? After extensive searching on google, everyone seems to agrtee that "PC building is actually very simple." I plan to follow the instructions on this website:

Ok, so this might be far too long as im feeling the need to vent and get things off my chest. If you read all the way to the end of this, then its appreciated
Im 18 and i have suffered with clinical depression for around 4 years now. Alongside the depression, ive suffered with a social anxiety disorder which brought on crippling panic attacks. For about a year it was so bad, i hardly ever went out.
Ive tried just about every anti-depressant you can get, ive gone through years of therapy, ranging from seeing a counsellor to cognitive behavioural therapy (which cost £60 a session and quite frankly, i found it disturbing). My GP recommended that i have psychoanalytic therapy, long term. But this is by no means cheap and not easy to come by! The Mental Health Service in the UK needs drastic improvement, the government needs to step up and make vast changes.
Im currently taking Prozac, have been weined off of it twice before, but in my personal experience, coming off it was torture. Not only did i feel suicidal once again, but i felt like i was going literally insane. So docs put me back on straight away and id be mellowed out once again.
Thats the thing with Prozac…for me it makes me feel good and positive and sometimes, makes me feel like the person i dream of really being…but it also numbs everything out. everything thats real.I hate the fact i cant really feel anything…not the raw emotions you feel when your depressed. I guess its a love/hate relationship i share with this one little pill.
Due to looooooong waiting lists for treatment & support, a lot of the time ive had to "heal" myself. Which, in my eyes, is no bad thing. Its where soul-searching comes in. Depression has taken so much from me…I had to drop out of high school and take exams at home, tried out college and failed at that and now…Well, im still a little lost in life. Not entirely sure what direction to turn to, but i know i’ll get there in the end…
Depression has also given me a lot back. It doesnt define me, but its helped shape me into the person i am today and its opened my eyes to how other people suffer in life.
I guess at the end of this rant/babble/load of rubbish/whatever you want to call it…the main point is that depression is an illness, not a weakness.
Dont give up. There’s always hope if you can just hold onto it.

Here is the Scenario of the incident happened with Harvey Norman Furniture. As a consumer I would like to know the honest opinion of you all.
Me & my husband bought a very beautiful apartment. As every excited couple we kept thinking about decorating our home. We started our weekend trip to different furniture stores to buy a lounge with having pre-defined budget set. After 2 months of intensive search finally we gave our heart to the Lounge we saw in Harvey Norman Auburn. Lounge was beautiful & within our range. Price 99 including delivery
The delivery man told my husband that it won’t fit in the lift. So my husband suggested him to take it through stairs. The delivery man said that he can take it through stairs but there are risks involved. My husband was ready for that but delivery guys didn’t want to put an extra effort and so they told that we have to pay any extra 0 in cash for getting sofa in my home through balcony.
My husband called Customer service requesting that we have already paid for delivery and it’s their responsibility to get the sofa to our place but they were less than helpful saying we have to pay 0 to get sofa. After this incident as any normal person I really got frustrated with them because before few days only we order the King size mattress and the delivery man brought it through stairs. So I straight away send them a emails saying the following lines:-
We are not going to pay any extra money and that if you didn’t resolve our matter I will get you to Consumer affairs and if not I know how to take care of you.
Next day I called their customer service. I told the lady that it was their responsibility to get the sofa to our place & she told me that it’s in there Term & Condition stating that if the product doesn’t fit it’s the customer responsibility.
Funny Condition but with a loophole :- I agree if it doesn’t fit in my house it’s my responsibility but if it doesn’t fit in my area or lift or stairs or country is that my responsibility too. No it’s not for clear. Rather than solving my problem she kept saying that I send them very threatening email as if I was threatening to kill them. No I was not; I did threaten them with consumer affairs. She was not helpful and so I told her that I need to speak to their manager. I realise that there was no point in getting angry and that I should calm down. In my heart I was very positive that manager will understand my problem and sure will get some solution.
I receive the call from Franchisee Manager. I was very hopeful till the time manager told me that he is cancelling my order and he don’t want to do business with people like me. He told me that I was threatening his staff and him. Funny he kept saying that rather than mentioning anything about my lounge delivery. I apologise saying him that anybody will get angry in my situation. I told him that the delivery man said that it can be taken through stairs but according to him the delivery man said that it can’t be even taken through stairs. Finally they cancel my order.
My mistake was that I got angry but why? If they would have done their job properly in the first place this wouldn’t have happened. Such Waste of time and we now have to start all over again.
After few days passed from this incident, my mind was still not at peace. So I decided to call two different Harvey Norman stores.
Store 1 :-
I told the Sales rep that I’m interested in buying that lounges online but I have few concerns regarding the delivery.
The sales rep first offered me the free delivery included in the price of lounge.
I told that we don’t have any lift in our apartment and the only way is through stairs. We live on the top floor of the building.
Sales rep was very kind and said to me that he will send an extra delivery man’s (in total 4) so that they can take it up to stairs & also said that he will charge an extra for 2 extra men’s effort.
I was really happy to know that it will only cost me as compared to 0.
Store 2 :-
I told the Sales rep that I’m interested in buying that lounges online but I have few concerns regarding the delivery.

Anyways I have already forgiven People from Harvey Norman AUBURN but it’s for sure I’m not going to their store again.

I watched CNN, and wondered wow. Michael Moore is pretty hardcore dumb. Seeing he doesn’t know what he is talking about. I listed 12 reasons in less then 3 minutes of video. What went wrong.
Stupid things Michael Moore said:
1. Capitalism is a legal system
If you are going to make a movie about something shouldn’t you know what the word means? Just as a beginning point at least. A quick Wikipedia search of the word tells you that it is an “economic and social system,” not a legal system. To be sure there is a legal structure that is needed to make capitalism work properly, but that doesn’t make capitalism a legal system itself.
2. Regulation and rules that use to keep them in check are no longer keeping them in check
There are no more regulations? That’s news to me. I think it would also be news to the thousands of small and large companies that have to suffer increased costs due to mind numbingly dumb regulations.
3. Rich having more is anti-democracy
What is anti-democratic about someone having more stuff than me? Or even having a lot more stuff than me? I guess it is only democracy if we all have the same amount of stuff…oh wait isn’t that called something else?
4. Not only against democracy but against his personal values
This I admit is a bit of a cheap shot, but did you notice how he made a distinction between his values and democratic values?
5. Against the values of people
Yes because lord knows that capitalism goes against the very fiber of America society. The free exchange of goods and services is universally condemned by every right thinking American. The USA hates freedom and capitalism that’s for sure. That’s why they were so friendly with the Soviet Union.
6. Jesus wouldn’t approve of a hedge fund
How the hell does he know what Jesus would think? Capitalism wasn’t even an abstract concept when Jesus was alive, so how can we possible discern his opinion on that never mind his opinion on hedge funds. You know what, 2 can play at this game. Jesus hates tax collectors therefore Jesus likes capitalism.
7. Replace capitalism with democracy
What the hell? Democracy is a political system. It isn’t even a legal system. So how can he even conceptualize replacing capitalism with democracy? What do we do? Vote on what job someone will get, how much they get paid, how much his groceries will cost, and so on?
8. How can we call it a democracy just because we vote
Because that’s what democracy means? Sure there has to be a couple more requirements to fully qualify as a democracy in most people’s minds; such as competitive elections and the rule of law. But voting is the fundamental core of every democratic system.
9. Don’t want to lose his democratic rights when he goes to work in the morning or go to the bank
At this point it is pretty clear he doesn’t know what the word democratic means. Even the Greeks wouldn’t stretch it to include commercial activity. He is just using it as a buzz word to avoid using the word socialism. This kind of demonstrates just how stupid #5 is.
10. Stop the debate between capitalism and socialism
Umm…okay? One system is based on voluntary individualism and the other is based on coercive collectivism. There may be a wide spectrum between two extremes but how exactly do you propose breaking this paradigm? Wouldn’t involving democratic voting in commercial activity just lead to the coercive model? Or did you think people wouldn’t notice?
11. We are smart enough to come up with a new system that is fair to all people
Demonstrably untrue; people have been trying to do this for thousands of years. Why do you think just because it is a new century we are suddenly smarter? I’ve seen no indication of this increased intelligence.
12. It’s time to start sticking up for the little guy in this country
This isn’t so much stupid in itself but stupid in the context of the rest of the clip. Socialism does not benefit the little guy. And let’s be real here, it is socialism and not some sort of commercial democracy that Michael Moore is advocating. Every socialist system has shown that it ultimately benefits a select group of elites. You want to protect the little guy’s interests? Protect capitalism.

Clearly our energy needs will needed to be met with a one-two punch of a variety of renewable sources and increased conservation.

I would like to at least become A&P certified.
How much should I expect to spend to attain one of these two goals..either A&P instruction or the Associate in Science degree
Please estimate for me the total cost to include everything I would need to include books, tuition, fees, tools, etc…
I live in FLorida and there are plenty of community colleges around.
I have done a Google search and found a few schools on the web…
for example;
I have been all over the Spartan Aviation School website…and I am amazed at how friggin’ difficult is to find out the cost from these people…WTF?? They are such a ripoff expensive of a school that they are afraid I will get sticker shock or be apphalled???
I sent them an email asking if tuition and fees for their school is a "secret"! haha.
If you have been through this program at a regular reasonably priced school like a community college or know someone who has..please tell me about how much I should expect to spend…I would very much appreciate your time if you would give to me a ball park estimate of tuition, fees, beginners tool set..etc…

Also I would like to know if I should pursue theAS DEGREE as opposed to pursue the Airframe and power plant classes for certification only. I know some classes will be required anyway since I have no experience…so I am thinking I should just go ahead and pursue the AS degree…is thinking correct..? Thank you again.

And his date of birth & place of birth. I know that he filed for bankruptcy in Grand Junction, CO. Would any of the facts that I know help me? I tried one of the online Find Anyone programs and paid a little over to be given a list of almost 50 people that could be him….
His daughter would like to see him, spend time with him & the last I heard about him was the bankruptcy in CO. He’s not listed in the phone book there. Thanks!

I’m thinking about switching numbers because I moved out of state and it’s confusing having my old area code.
At my work, we do confirmation calls, and once, I called someone and I got an automated message saying "The number you have dialed has changed. The new number is: … This number will be repeated once. The new number is: … Thank you." And then it hung up. I thought it was the most useful thing ever, and I’d really like to get it, as I can no longer remember all the different places I’ve given my number (potential employers, school, etc.) and this would be really helpful.
However, I can’t figure out what it’s called/how much it costs/etc. Searching "call forwarding" doesn’t pull up the right thing. Does anyone know what this is, and how much it would cost from AT&T???

A lot of people, maybe including me, spend lots of time during the workday hanging out on R&S and not doing work, which costs companies money. And there just happens to be lots of companies losing lots of money in this country.
Aside from people being bad with their money, a lot of them (like most people here) are spending time searching for God with no real leads. Just hours of wasted time.
So can God be the main one to blame for America’s sluggish economy? Or at least the 2nd one to blame?

PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ WHAT I HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THESE PEOPLE, IT WILL SAVE YOU THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS. First check out www.youtube.com and in the search box type in industry model and talent studios scam – there is a CBS news reort that happened less than 4 months ago!!!!
The way the company works is they send out "talent scouts" (mostly kids aged 18-21 who are looking for a part-time job) to various malls, movie theaters, and events throughout New York City, Connecticut, and New Jersey. These "scouts" are paid to stand at these locations!!!! AND they stop every single person they see who is with a child. They stop these people by saying something
like "excuse me mam, your son is so cute he has such beautiful eyes, have you ever considered getting him into acting or modeling?". If you say no, they will continue to tell you how perfect your child is until you sign up. At this point when the person agrees to sign up, they fill out a card with
just basic contact information. The card then gets sent to a call center where the person will now receive a phone call from a representative who will attempt to set you up with an appointment at their office in Edgewater. When you make the appointment you will show up at the office and meet with someone who is actually a salesperson and this person will try to sell you "marketing tools" which are photos of you and your child and a spot on the company’s website which they say is looked at by various agency’s. This is BS!!!!! They never provide you with you is looking at your site!
This is the part that is the REAL SCAM….When you are initially stopped by the scout, if you ask the scout if there’s any cost to sign up he/she will say "no it is entirely free". THIS IS A LIE!!!!! They will charge you anywhere from 0-,000 just to take pictures of your child to complete the portfolio. The thing is, many people fall into the trap and pay this crazy amount of money to Industry Model and Talent Studios and then…….THEY NEVER GET A CALL BACK, THEY GET NO WORK!!!!! THEY WASTED THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS!!!!!
A legitimate modeling agency would not ask you for money, they would pay for your portfolio and take a percentage of what you make for themselves. Oh yeah I should mention that Industry
Model and Talent Studios admits they are not an agency!!!
Once you go to your meeting with the salesperson and pay these people money you also sign a contract. The contract is very carefully written, they have lawyers present at all of their meetings to ensure that everything they do is technically legal and people can not get a refund if they are unhappy with the service. IT MAY BE LEGAL BUT IT IS NOT ETHICAL and this is how they keep your money!
The company operates under different names since so many people are now aware of the scam. They operate as Industry Model & Talent Studios in New Jersey,
NewFaces in Hicksville, New York,
InterFACE in CT, and
iTalent in other various places. Look at how similar their websites are….

I want to know if I want to advertise as a web hosting reseller with Yahoo & Google search engines, how much it is cost approximately. I mean PPC. They don’t refer exactly to this issue.
