Well i’ve been straightening(rebonding) my hair every year.
I do it when my mom is able to afford it.

I straighten my hair and highlight my hair at the same time at the salon i’ve always go last year. Now i’m changing salon because the hairdresser that always did me and my sister’s hair is no longer working there. Hence, my sister went to a brand new salon which she only straighten her hair and it turns out good.

(My mom don’t believe the other hairstylist in the salon we used to go, as one of the hairstylist USED to damage my sister’s hair)

I wanted to get a red dye on my whole hair. (Like hayley williams hair)
(My sister dyed her hair like few months ago(my mom dyed for her) at that time her hair was long and most of the long hair was damaged(due to bleaching at a salon her friend recommended to her and it turn into damage.).. so a month ago she went to the new salon and cut all her damaged hair(finally she let go of her long hair even though it was damaged) and straighten it and it looks good as well as her red dye but not really obvious.

I did HIGHLIGHT last year and straighten. But the highlight wasn’t obvious (it was reddish or blonde)
As my hair is dark brown or black ( i can’t really tell lol)
So the color turns out brownish kind of color.

Now my hair has curled back(fringe etc) and i’m thinking of straightening it ( as my mom asked me to after my sister straightening turns out well)

But most of my friend kept saying to dye first before straightening it?
But i just searched in HERE about people wanting to dye it first then straightening but most of the answers were to straightening it then dye later.

But what should i dye? Professionally done or asking my mom to do it for me?

But i don’t think i will go to a salon and do it as it is very costly when highlighted my hair the last time ( my mom was furious of the cost of the highlight)

And i’m scared if i were to ask my mom to dye it, the result won’t satisfies me? So i need a good brand of dye to do it.

And should i dye first or straighten first?

My sister used Revlon when she dyed her hair red.

Rebond — most asians country use this as a form of "straightening" if you don’t get what rebond is.

And i’m from Singapore, if any of the people answering is a Singaporean or colorist or hairstylist, please do answer!
I need help! Because i really really want to dye my hair!
