how to find if a person is online ?
hi.
can anyone tell me if it is possible to find if a person is online during chat when his status is displayed as offline? this may be in yahoo messenger or google or in any other service. if yes, then how?

no, that’s why there is an option to be "invisible"…they dont WANT you to know they’re online.
The only way you can do it is by being in the same chat room they are in.
