HI! Can anyone tell me what are good places (online or in person) to find business partners?
I am currently operating a home-based business in New York and am looking to find motivated business partners. I appreciate your help.

First of all what type of business are you wanting to do? Are you wanting partner or are you wanting to become a partner. What are your interest in?
Hi- what I did–Hire someone on a short term basis, check them out, if they make money for the company, why split the proceeds. I hire on a contract, commission basis, this way if they don’t make me any money they are history–
If you have to give them a cut of the business only do it as a last resort.

I would recommend not getting a business partner at all. Becoming partners is one the the worst things to do with small businesses.
You can always put ads on Monster.com or careerbuilder.com and screen through the applicants.
