First of all, I did an exhaustive search of the web to figure this problem out. Second, I spent a great deal of money on sprays, chemicals, and spices to stop this from occurring. Let us do a little background shall we?

My neighbor decided about 5-6 years ago to bring home a female kitten. This kitten grew and started going into heat so instead of getting the cat spayed, she just kicked it out. She replaced the female with a male kitten that eventually grew and started spraying the house so she kicked that cat out also. Male and female hump, have a litter of kittens and then there was 7 cats. One of the offspring impregnated mother cat and 7 cats became a family of 13 cats some obviously inbred. A few got hit, and a few got pregnant, but somehow the number stays around 12-13 cats. We live in the suburbs in a really clean and quiet community so at midnight, when cats start fighting, it scares the s**t out of people because we can leave our windows open without fear of burglars and/or rapists. Anyhow, over the past several years, the cats have inbred so much that one actually has an undeveloped twin stuck on it’s back. That’s the history of where we are at now.

I made hundreds if not thousands of inquiries both on the net and over the phone to seek guidance on alleviating this problem to no avail. I see hundreds of blogs and websites that seem to promote just accepting the cat problem or whatever. I even see suggestions like: "Put out a litter box for them to poop in", or spend 0 on automated sprinklers, etc. I don’t think so.

My kids play in the back yard and every other day, one of the freak cats from next door poops under the wooden swingset (stones). I paid almost ,000 to have my front and side yard landscaped professionally and the freak cats from next door keep pooping in the mulch.

Here is my dilemma: They are not my cats, therefore, I will not pay anymore to buy useless chemicals that don’t work. I will not buy wire mesh to place over my mulch, plant upside down forks, mix rose bush thorns in the mulch, put nasty smelling moth balls all over my yard, put eggshells where they do their business, sprinkle 3lbs of cayenne pepper all over every other day, buy a dog, or a BB gun. I also will not sit like a freaking sniper behind bushes for hours with a super-soaker to spray them. No… I found a better method.

Before I speak of that method, I have a few things to say to the backwoods cat lovers that say "they were here first" or "cats are people too" – B.S. These cats were kittens well over two years after I bought this house. The rotten little things don’t pay my mortgage, clean up after themselves, cook me dinner, pay my taxes, or add any aesthetic value to my property. Cats are not people or remotely close to it. How would you "cat Lovers" like it if my kids and I walked over to your yard and started dropping loaves all over your landscaping and near your swingset?

So here’s what I did to alleviate the stray cat problem- I went to the local (about 60 miles away) farm supply store and bought 2 of those live animal traps. I stopped at my local grocery store and purchased a half dozen cans of cat food and cheap plastic bowls. Six nights in a row, I placed the trap inside my garage with a cheap bowl full of Purina and watched Netflix. Every night, no fail, I would hear the traps spring shut and a lot of hissing. Around 1am every night, I packed the little s**t factories into my trunk and drove about 8 miles to the local trailer park. I dropped off said s**t factories and cheap plastic bowl full of food at every trailer I could find that had a Taurus with 18-20 inch rims on it. Suffice to say, I have not had to pick up a cat turd from my yard in over 6 months now and have yet to see a single cat in our neighborhood running around freely.

Cost: for two traps, for 24 plastic bowls, .50 for a few cans of cat food, and for gas.

Peace of mind knowing my yard has no poop and the trailer park is in worse shape: priceless

Hi,for a long time now i have wanted some land in california,endless searching really for an investment and maybe build on it eventually,but due to the enormous cost of property and land in coastal areas there it was just impossible to find something actually affordable,most acres of land cost as much as a big house,so it was not possible for me to do that.

A few people here like many Americans have a hard time understanding the difference between socialism and communism. One comports solidarity while the other is about conformality. Then I stated there are many things socialized in America. Among them are the police force, fire brigade, public schools, parks, roads, and libraries. Then there’s the military which is communist because everything is state-owned. The guys pushing papers behind a desk get paid the same as the ones breaking their backs in the field. In fact, the desk jockeys are more likely to get promoted, and they have socialized medicine in the military. In a communist society, there’d be no such thing as free speech, press, petition, or religion because the media, churches, and everything else is state-owned. Gay rights might not be on the table, either. Thus, I’m glad Obama overturned Don’t Ask Don’t Tell, and I do support gay marriages.

I’m a democratic socialist who believes everyone should pay taxes, and I’m not upset by if someone with over a billion dollars pays up to 90-percent in revenue. That still leaves them 0 million left which is more than one can spend in three lifetimes. I oppose late term abortions, but it’s not a black-and-white issue for me. As long as it’s within the first trimester or maybe the first five months, it’s fine with me. That’s why I think there should be subsidized abortion clinics like there are in Japan. Three to five months is plentiful time to make a decision after being the victim of rape or incest. I also support capital punishment which rules out me being a bleeding-hearted liberal. What they should do is mandatory DNA testing for all accused murderers. Then those who do cold-blooded calculated killings should be placed in a dark room and shot in the back of the head Russian-style. It’s quick, painless, and it cost-effective.

Oh, and by the way federal and state prisons are also socialized. They have socialized medicine, and they’re paid for with the taxpayers dollars. Not all are communist because many are privately owned which I suspect is why several people are wrongfully convicted. Finally, someone who’s communist wouldn’t advocate the legalization of gambling, prostitution, and pot which I do If you want to talk about limited government, I say we should allow, regulate, and tax the daylights out of all three. Heck, I think they should do that with all the drugs. Then they should merge the ATF, DEA, and U.S. Customs with the FBI and state troopers. I can promise the readers with a capital P 90-percent of the drugs out there are no more harmful than alcohol or tobacco. In a communist country, a dealer would be shot in the back of the head in a public square. They wouldn’t do time or anything. All they have is to be caught by the police. I also support Miranda rights and search warrants, by the way. Those aren’t granted in communist societies, either. I think you’ve made it very clear. You are tired of Obama "Talking and Apologizing". So what is left?

Diplomacy involves talking and the only thing left is either war or sanctions on both countries which are proving ineffective.

Do you WANT 2 additional wars? 4 wars in a single decade says what about our country and Republicans? Is that we are warmongering? I do think so.

You complain about what is being spent, and yet you want action against Iran for human rights and freedoms. This will cost a couple trillion dollars to do so, it will also cost American lives, and more innocent Iranian lives.

But what about OUR freedoms at home? I mean hell, Republicans made it clear they are more worried about Iranian freedom than our own. Extreme liberals are threatening our right to bear arms, and extreme cons want cameras in all of our houses. The Patriot Act gives the government the power to rape the constitution, illegally search our homes, tap our phones, and void many of our basic human rights, as well as the rights the constitution promises and guarantees us all.

Oh and we can’t forget that women may lose rights seeing how a bunch of old angry god fearing men, want to limit their rights to abortions. On top of that the government is limiting who and who we cannot marry based on sexual orientation. So what’s next?

Did I miss the memo? A lot of our rights here at home are being trampled, and taken away yet these Cons are worried about the Islamic Shithole of Iran. Are Republicans saying they are willing to spend trillions of dollars to give freedom to Iranians, but wouldn’t spend a dime to increase our own freedoms?

Republicans don’t care about the American people, they only reason why they are so concerned about Iran is because they want gain political momentum and further brainwash their supporters. Republicans are so blind and mentally incapacitated, you would follow your party to the ends of the earth no knowing.

When does the madness stop?

As far as North Korea goes all we do is WAIT. If we jump the gun now it could ignite more tension — possibly Russia and the Chinese could side with the North Korea. Also the UN is firmly examining the situation, if NKorea did launch a Nuke at us we would know before it leaves the ground and could intercept it before it comes close to its target. If that were to happen, they would become isolated by Russia and China, and 99% of the UN would side with us in a military effort against NKorea.

-Our native birds are being smuggled overseas to be caged as pets too, I aint feelin that either they live for over 100 years so I hope their owners are prepared to hand them down the family after they die. But right now I’m talking about Sugar Gliders who are nocturnal tree-dwellers that aint meant to be played with during the day in plastic bubbles made for land crawling rodents. Here in the wild there’s usually 6 to 10 sugar gliders living in the one nest, even a couple in a cage would be depressingly lonely and barking all night trying to call others to socialize eventually going insane enough to self mutilate after weeks of no response.

-Take a look at dogs, an introduced animal who when escapes becomes pack animals that destroy the native wildlife and often attack people. But the damage was done centuries ago when they didn’t know any better. We don’t need any more introduced species and neither do you.

-that’s the thing tho’ if a sugar glider escapes in a foreign country it cant survive.

- it should be the other way around, illegal to keep any foreign wildlife and legal to keep wildlife native to your own country. That way if it does escapes it doesn’t damage the ecosystem they are introduced into, it’d just be going home to eat what the country provided for them anyway.

I know Sugar Gliders wont stop selling overseas but if they must be sold as pets they should at least be sold like my girls Burmese, from a breeder who cares if they go to the right home that fulfils the pets needs (A cage big enough to fit a few gum tress inside, preferably as big as your backyard…if you have one) and sold in groups of at least 6.

I went to a place I found on yahoo search for computer repair in Clear Lake, Texas named Hackerz, at first I was nervous but read on. I called and a guy who said he was the owner picked up and I told him I dropped my laptop in the water and he said he could fix it. Within 24 hours he fixed it but only charged me .99 for the cost to fix the whole entire laptop and all I needed was the Hard drive. Why did I only get charged that little? It has been a month now and no problems have come from it. I guess some people are out there to really help out the people like me who have no clue about computers. haha, anyway… can someone tell me more about this company or at least something, I just can’t figure out why it was so cheap.

First, my ad, a legitimate offering (I’m not a spammer, it was for a single item and I broke no listing rules) would not come up in the search results…even though I got the email back from them saying it had "published". In other words, no one could see it but me! What a waste of time.

After researching for hours and hours and countless emails, and time spent on their forums, I found out that my ad had been "ghosted" for no apparent reason. After trying and trying to get it fixed, I finally realized that the best way forward was to stop trying to get that ad fixed and just write a new one with different language and pictures. I did that, and it was accepted within 15 minutes. Same item, everything the same except different wording and picture angles. Very strange. Cost me 4 hours.

So I finally get the ad up and things are good. Then, I wanted to delete the item afterwards so potential buyers would waste their time contacting me anymore…and I get this message ""we are not able to offer a removal option at this time". So is everyone forced to keep old ads on there now? I don’t understand that rationale at all.

I know they’ve been having problems with hookers, and people spamming, and that craigslist are generally good people doing a positive thing to help everyone…and that they don’t have the resources to physically help each case…but I just wonder what the heck is going on.

They must be using some new logarithms or something to weed out certain ads, and again, I have maybe used craigslist 10 times total in the past 3-4 years to sell random stuff like bikes and our old workout equipment, etc. I’ve never had these problems in the past. Has anyone else had these problems or know what I mean? I feel like they are making a huge mistake and risking alienation of their core legitimate user base.

I met a cool person online. Found out he was slumming it in a boring chat room; just to met regular people and talk. He was just so smart and witty, even with our opposing views, we hit it off. He actually likes texting and chatting with me every night! It is a trip. It is easy for a regular can fall for someone in the lime light, kind of like a growing admiring cause of the fame. It makes me wonder if he really is into me.It is fun talking with him, just not sure what can actually come of it. Not sure if I can deal with my imagination and how things will turn out when we actually meet. Just do not want to faint when I do. So opinions please. I can not find anything to deal with this or how to react. I just do not feel pretty enough to be with him. It is really funny!

Have you ever refused to do business with a company because of bad customer service even if they had a slightly better price?

Reason I am posting.

I work on PCs and because of the price of parts in the last 3 years it is no longer cost efficient for me to build my own PCs. I now buy them from the market place and and just charge a setup fee. Less money for me but most of my money today is generated by virus and spyware removal and recovering lost data.

For the most part I usually dealt with Dell where I would order the PCs and have them with in 7 to 10 days. The only sticking point I had was having to deal with people I could not understand and more than they could understand me. (Language barrier).

This time I ordered 4 PCs from HP. A sale totaling over ,000. 14 days later I still did not have the PCs nor did I get any confirmation (e-mail) as to the progress of the sale or when they were or are being shipped except the date I was given when I ordered them.

I called HP, gave them the order number and asked where they were as they are already 3 days behind the promised delivery date. She said let me put you on hold for a few minutes. 6 minutes later, I was pick up by FedEx Ground and they asked my for the waybill number. I was never given one by HP.

However the woman at FedEx Ground went above good service and search by address and found they were in transit for delivery the next day.

I called HP back and got another person and told them the story. She said did you find them? I said yes with no help from HP. She said so you have no problem and hung up. An these were Americans at HP.

I view this as a management problem. I am going back to Dell.

So lately I have been wanting to get in touch with close friends from highschool. I had a great friend whom I only called by a dorky highschool nick name. They actually moved away and since I have not been able to find this person because I didn’t know their real name. So with that is there anyway to even get their real name or get in touch with them?

My question has to do with affiliate internet marketing. For years I’ve used one shared web hosting account and I create multiple add-on domains on it for all my various sites. I know it’s not a good idea to have all of your domains on one server because search engines can see they all come from the same IP address if you link the sites and if you’re server goes down, all of your sites are down. No site access = no money coming in.

I see that several of the top power affiliates get themselves a reseller hosting account so they can create individual websites rather than add-on domains, but they’re still all on the same IP address and if the server goes down, all the sites will be down.

Reseller hosting is considerably more expensive than shared hosting and I know you can offset the cost by selling accounts and domain names from it, but let’s say you don’t sell to other people.

So what’s the advantage of using reseller hosting instead of shared hosting for affiliate marketing?

Also, yesterday I was looking at some reseller hosting. I need to do some more research, but tell me if something like this is in the ballpark or too expensive. These are just the high level features, but bascially, anything you can do on a shared hosting account, you can do on this so I certainly wouldn’t be losing anything.

UPADTE: Thanks, Joe. You made a couple of points that escaped me. You’re right about moving domains, so much easier when not dealing with addons. Also, a reseller account would be more stable than shared. ResellerZoom was the one I was looking at. HostGator is more cost effective on a per GB basis, but it’s also overkill for what I need at this time.

Beneath The Surface

So, don’t go judging someone by the way they appear,
Coz behind every smile & laugh there may be a hidden tear.

No one said life is easy, just like we lived in heaven, there’s hell,
Nobody’s an angel, & guess what? You’re not one as well.

So why search for other’s flaws when you already have your own?
Mind your own life, your own problems & just leave people alone!!

And before you go pointing out fingers, make sure your hands are clean,
Don’t judge a life you’ve never lived or judge sth you haven’t seen.

If you look beneath the surface, you’ll see a broken smile, eyes full of pain,
A loss of someone dear, a goodbye that needed too much strain.

Over 13 months ago, about 20 FBI agent and police kicked my door down. I live in a nice home in a nice neighborhood. I am a single female and never have been convicted of a crime. They took my computer, documents, bank statements, phone records. cell phones, boxes where people had mailed me cell phones and searched the whole house while I was hand cuffed and thrown outside to be humiliate in front of my neighbors. Before this they pointed a gun to my head and told me to drop my cell phone. The female agent told me to relax and told me that I was not under arrest and asked that I be uncuffed and was nice to me. Before they knew where I was ,they kicked the bathroom door down too even though the other door to the same bathroom was opened. This was like a bad dream. It has been over 13 months and I have heard nothing. Again I was never arrested just searched
PLEASE DON’T SAY TO GET AN ATTORNEY. They cost 6 figures just to retain them. Many have felt that is it was going to go somewhere then they would have has an arrest warrant and not just a search warrant and over 13 months have passed. To my understanding the statue of limitation is 5 yeas. An honest atty said that if there is no pending case then there is not reason to get any atty.
My Question is if over 13 months have passed and I have heard nothing then am I probably okay. I even called them about one year ago and they told me that they would call me back and did not.

In my opinion there are some people who need their heads pulled out of their heads. They say they are suspicious and make suggestive comments about the McCann’s in which case they are implying their knowledge is greater than that of the British, Spanish and Portugese police! Also, half of these people fail to spell Madeleines name correctly!

Whether you are in support of the McCann’s or not, why can’t we just leave the McCann’s and police to search for their daughter and stop hurling insignificant accusations and blame around?

I lost my dog, a male, small, un-neutered Yorkshire, a week ago, August 4 at 7 pm, in Queens area. I contacted Animal Care Center (ACC) to file a missing dog. Three days later, I saw in ACC’s website that someone found a dog that has same characteristics as my dog on the same day at 2 am in the morning. I contacted ACC, and we have a three-way call since the finder refused to call me directly. However, the finder insisted that the dog is not mine since our houses is 3 miles apart. So, I asked if the finder can send me the picture of the found dog (all the communication is via an ACC’s agent as a middle person since the finder didn’t want to give any of their information to me). When I received the pictures via email, I definitely knew that it was my dog. I contacted ACC straight away to tell the finder that it was my dog. However, the finder insisted that it wasn’t my dog and eventually stated that she wanted to keep the dog.

The problem is I don’t have the finder information at all. The Animal Care Center knows it, but is not allowed to give it to me without the finder’s permission.
How can I bring someone to the court if I don’t know who they are. Until now, we’ve been communicating via Animal Care Center. However, I know for sure that it is my dog. I asked them if I can meet the dog, that way they will know whether I’m the owner or not, but they wanted to keep the dog.

When the dog was missing, he didn’t have his tag on (he hates wearing it, so I took it off). He’s not microchip-ed as well. However, I have a bunch of his pictures and has his birth certificate.

The agent of Animal Care Center told me that the finder claimed that they spent 0 for the vet cost. Do I have to reimburse that money to them if I get it back? I don’t know if they are lying or not.

I did take care of my dog. I gave him meals everyday, take him out for walk everyday. I just didn’t take him to the dog saloon, and shave his hair by myself, so his hair looks uneven (all my friends do the same). But doesn’t not groom your dog in saloon means you do not take care of your dog?
I have some of his hair in his comb if they want a DNA proof.
He went missing because my roommate open the door (3rd floor) and he ran outside. Usually the entrance door on the 1st floor is always closed, but that time it was open. I wasn’t home that time, but after my roommate called me and told me, I went home straight away. She began the searching right after the dog ran out, but she lost the track. We search for 4 hours, put fliers within 1 mile around my house, but no result. Until I saw the posting in Animal Care Center website that someone found a Yorkshire on the same day.
I also wonder how come he could walk 3 miles. I just know for sure (and all my family and friends also) from the pictures from the finder that it was my dog.

But can the finder microchip a stray dog and the dog legally belong to them? I thought there’s a law in every state before they’re allowed to do that (I live in NY state)? Does the dog need to have a birth certificate to be microchip-ed?
I also have all the emails and posting from the finder that the dog is actually a stray dog.

I call the cop, and they can’t help me because I don’t have enough proof that it’s my dog. Apparently pictures and birth certificate are not enough. The cop said that they can’t arrest people or force them to meet up with me at the shelter.

Could you please let me know what should I do? Does the finder have the right to keep the dog? Can I get my dog back? Please, this is very important to me.

I’ve been reading through the posts on here and most of them regarding moving to Alaska (Anchorage municipality) have been very informative and helpful, but I just have a few questions that are more specific to my situation.

1. We are leaving in January, and the car my roommate has now is in no way fit to drive around in Alaska (regardless of how often they clear the snow). We will be flying into Anchorage and hope to find an INEXPENSIVE but moderately safe vehicle, that will last at least for temporary inner-city use only while job hunting and exploring the town. Any recommendations for used car places (or types) besides Craigslist? (which we do plan on utilizing). Also, how much do studded tires generally cost?

2. What are the hours of daylight like in January?

3. Are there a decent amount of jobs available in the winter? We will be looking for anything really at first. I’ve had lots of random experience from coffee shops to working with developmentally challenged individuals, so I figure I should be able to find something relatively quickly with persistent searching.

4. What is the music "scene" like up here? I come from an area with a ton of local bands of varying styles from extreme metal, punk, to folk and bluegrass. Playing music and attending shows (mostly of the genres I listed) are really important to us.

5. Finally, are there any local microbreweries? I suppose I could have done a google search on most of these things but I’d like to hear some of your opinions.
