At what cost would you continue to keep a secret? Am I unloyal now?
Last week i got an emergency call from a friend asking me to come and get her.I dropped what I was doing and got there in record speed(remind you I am 9 months pregnant and ready to pop at any moment) She walked out the house with a face swollen like an airballoon and a extremely pink swollen eye. She told me that her and her bf had gotten into an altercation the previous night. She did not mention that he basically beat the shit out of her! I took her to the ER, her nose would not stop bleeding. She has no insurance so even though there were only a few people waiting, they were in no rush to see her. 3 hrs later, they call her back. By that time, i was dying for food so i went in search for the cafeteria. I got us both a snack plus the 6 year old kid she had been babysitting as well. On my way to her room 3 nurses asked me who i was and asked for identification and im thnking, wth is going on? Finally after her CT scan she tells me that when they questioned her about the bruises and everything, she lied and said a girl had done it….so they thought it was my pregnant ass who beat her up!! To sum it up. The guy beat the hell out of her, broke her nose, fractured another part of her face blacked her eye and left her swollen like a blowfish! To top it off, she covered for him, would not call the cops and to my suprise later that day texted me about how confused she was about being back with him! Talk about a dumb broad!!! I am longtime friends with her and her family. Her younger sister who is my age works out at the gym w/me and after her idiotic older sister wrote a bunch of bs on my facebook page about what happened, arguing back and forth with me about the situation, she asked me what was going on. She knew it had to be serious because I dont argue…i ignore! So i basically told the sister that she needed to go visit her older sister and talk to her because things were not right with her. Well her family put two and two together when they saw herface and the fb comments about she can be with whoever she chooses…yada yada. They know! So she calls me, cusses me out calls me phony and unloyal, deletes me from her facebook, and basically told me to stay out of her life!! And now im feeling like crap for trying to be a good friend??? Where did I go wrong if at all? I never told what happened just suggested that she be talked to, she filled everyone in with the details on fb…not me!!

deep inside you yourself know that you didnt do anything wrong.. i think she just thought you said something to her family.. its not your fault she posted those comments on FB.. you are pregnate and for you to be there for her like that is amazing… i think she is just confused about her boyfriend and stuff…
relax and worry about your self and your baby, nothing else should be important to you at this time… but other than that wait for her to come to you.. because honestly you have nothing to go to her for.. you shouldnt apologize because you didnt do anything wrong.

Drop her like a hot potato. It hurts, I know. Sometimes you want to forgive and forget and go on being friends, but you need to take care of you first, and it sounds like this is not a healthy friendship for you to be in.
