Anyone out there know how i can find a person that is in the marines or army via online is there a web site.?
Please list any sites to find someone i lost touch with That is active in the armed services…. Thanks

If you write to one of these addresses and enclose a check for 3.50 they will tell you if your friend is in that branch of the military. Pay attention folks, copy and paste and all that jazz.

Unfortunately, there is NO website. The govt is very protective as to how civilians can contact someone in the armed forces. There are websites that are set up where civilians can send emails to our GI’s. You basically would just be sending good wishes types of emails and they would be routed to a general website that the GI’s can read.

Military.com is a good option. You can go there and register and then go to the Discussions page. There are a lot of people in the military that will be happy to answer your questions. You can also go to Goarmy.com and chat with a recruiter live. These are a couple options. Good luck.

military.com is a great site, I was able to find my Dad but I couldn’t find myself or my sqaud leader, even better would be if your recruiter could hook you up with an AKO account, or anyone you know in the army for that matter. I’m not to sure on how to find marines though
http://www.military.com allows you to look up any soldier or vetran. no matter the branch. they will tellyou there last know information.
