Does anyone know how I can find someone when all I have is a name and old address from the 80′s? All the online websites and geneology searches haven’t been any help. If you have any ideas I’m willing to give em a try.
According to people finder and white pages the address doen’t even exist. I found it on google earth and mapquest though. According to google earth there was a car in the driveway, but google earth can be up to three years out of date.

Is anyone from the UK?
In the UK we do not have "Nestle Pretzel Flipz" those CHOCOLATE SALTED PRETZELS and they cost £5 online for ONE bag of 56g – RIP OFF!

There has been a petition online but the person who started this petition clearly did not do their research; Nestle do not own Nestle Pretzel Flipz anymore.

Therefore I have decided to start my own business on eBay (Type in Chocolate Pretzels into the search bar of eBay). So far I’ve made £100, which has allowed me to buy commission from Deviant Artists and create a website (Which is coming soon) to make the product cheaper – because eBay & PayPal are extortionists!

Now this part is going to be a unprofessional rant, so apologises and you are welcome to skip it!

I’ve been on benefits now for about 6 months because I moved from London to Birmingham, I did have a job, but because Birmingham council and my old housing association took so long in transferring my tenancy agreement (Typically/averagely it takes 6 weeks – they took 4 months) I lost my job, my employers did hold on as long as they could although it was extremely unfair to other possible candidates. Six months later and about 100 CV’s a week later, still no luck, it makes me feel like I’m a crap person, although I know I’m not, it’s just the economy at the moment!

Anyways, if you miss these delicious, moorish, addictive chocolates, please buy from me!

Once I get a few hundred customers (At the moment I have 21 and rising) I’m going to employ other people who are struggling on benefits like single parent families and disabled people to help support their families and help get them off benefits!

Thank you for your time in reading this.

This is a strange story.

So I was at the Junior League Bag-A-Bargain in Knoxville, (It’s this thing where people donate stuff to this giant consignment sale, and people can buy the donated stuff really cheap) and I was standing in the sports just looking at stuff. (The only thing in my bag was a bowling pin. Yes, a bowling pin) I am looking around table no. 3 and I see this big harmonica. I was wanting a harmonica for my birthday, so I pick it up and put it in my bag and keep shopping. (The harmonica only cost a dollar, but I was a t the previewing party for exclusive people, so everything was double the price. So the harmonica was 2 dollars.) So when I’m done shopping I go to the bathroom and wash off the harmonica so I can play it. Then we head to the check-out.
I decide to get on my mom’s phone and go on eBay. The harmonica says "54 Chromonica, M. Hohner, Germany, 4 Chromatic Octaves, Professional Model." After all that anyone with common sense is bound to know this is probably worth at lease fifteen dollars.

So I go on ebay and search "64 Chromonica, Professional Model" and I was very surprised to see that the prices for them range from 75-325 dollars.

So now I have a very expensive harmonica, that I got for 2 dollars, and It doesn’t have a case. It did not have a case when I bought it. Can anyone tell me where I can get a case for it??? Thanks.

Many times I have wanted to do a background check or to do a search to find someone but there are so many companies with different rules and prices that I need help to pick the best one. What I want is to get the most information I can get for the least money. But I’m less concerned with the actual cost, than I am with getting my money’s worth. They all claim that they do free searches. What they don’t say is that you have to pay them to get the results. And I’m all for that. I do not expect anything for free. As well, I am willing to pay top dollar for the best services. I would also like to pay an annual fee with the understanding that hopefully, I could do unlimited searches. I’m trying to stay away from paying for each search compared to paying a set amount either for unlimited searches or for a finite number of searches for a fair price. The reason I want to do this is because if you check my profile, I’m no spring chicken and I’m trying to find people that I haven’t seen in decades ergo I need to be able to search for people. As far as the background checks go, I have many instances where being able to do a personal or criminal background check could benefit myself and/or my family for a number of reasons. So if you have any information about companies that do all of the above, or maybe various companies that are good in different areas, as well as companies I should steer clear of, I would appreciate the feedback. Thank you.

I need to find a dear friend of mine that i met online and whom just disappeared without a trace (for a year now)
I know the exact name, city and a few names of friends/family even, but have no idea where to start.
Facebook has failed me in trying to find any form of contact with the above.
I don’t know what to try, since it’s overseas and I use english, i have no idea how to find somebody in Oslo, Norway.
Is there some social network for Oslo perhaps, or a forum for young people?

On the home page, I want a form where a string of variables are defined by the user. They select state, city, range of zip codes and even elevation of region… and they click submit, the results are listed by city. Then, a basic user can report a paid user for violations of the contract and if they’re reported against 10x, they get deactivated and blacklisted and their name is written on a page that lists all banned users. What directory software can do that?

All the languages I know is HTML and CSS. Perl, PHP and Javascript are foreign to me. XML databasing is confusing to me because I cannot learn it in an organized manner for free.

Does anyone have experience with eSyndicat software? Is it trustworthy? Is it a scam? Why does directory software have to cost so much? Most directories on the Net fail shortly after going live. Starting up failing businesses isn’t productive and wastes resources. I want to ensure my directory doesn’t fail. What’s the absolute best software to write this highly specialized online directory?

Is there WYSIWYG/code split-screen software that completely replaces Dreamweaver and instead, can handle all the HTML, CSS, XML, Javascript and PHP functions of a fully functional directory or online database?

When I first go live, I won’t have anyone in my directory. People visiting my site will get confused because no one is in my directory. How do I even build my directory so people can search it? My directory will be a directory of businesses with a certain specification. Do I have to contact and visit a million businesses so I know whether or not to list them before going live?
I’d much rather take Tdz’s advice. What’s the best way to learn the codes? I started out learning HTML in Notepad; that’s a great way to code.
Is there a way to install an Apache server to my own iMac OSX 10.6.6 to test my own PHP as I write it? Right now, I display only raw PHP code when viewing my PHP file on my Apache server. The pre-installed PHP is enabled in a line of code in httpd.conf, but still it insists on displaying raw PHP code on the server I host myself. Mac OS 10.6.6 has a built-in Apache server that runs PHP when enabled in httpd.conf. There’s no reason why it won’t run. Why is it picking an attitude with me for no reason?

I have a HUGE collection of Japanese Pokemon cards, and I’ve searched everywhere for a site that buys them with no success. The sites I’ve found only purchase English cards. I’ve tried craigslist with countless failed attempts, and ebay costs money. Besides, I find that people are mostly interested in the newer series.

My collection consists of the original sets (base, jungle, fossil, etc), as well as Japanese promos only given away in Japan.

Any recommendations?

Has anyone worked for Bill & Diane Lampe / Lampe Companies / National Agents Alliance (NAA)?

During the past several months, I have come across various ads from State Farm and Allstate insurance companies, offering opportunities to come work for them as Insurance Agents, with no experience, with offerings to even set you up in your own business, with your own office, at some future date upon you proving yourself. However upon doing a Google search about this, ex-Insurance Agents that have answered those ads and worked for either company have painted some tales of horror of what it was like for them to work for either company, where they ultimately ended up having to quit after working for several months. So upon reading what I read, I opted to skip trying my luck at either company.

Now fast forward . . . while reading the Want Ads over the past two weeks, I have come across an insurance company (Lampe Companies), and they seem to have a few thousand online ads for “Health Insurance Sales Agents” in cities all over the nation that they have posted during the last 2 weeks alone. In their ads they state: “No cold calling because our lead program is so strong that we continually have too many direct mail and call in leads, and never enough agents. Agent and management opportunities immediately available across the country.”

I can’t imagine that as bad as our economy is, that people are making a beeline to buy insurance.

Though it seems there are no up-front cost and they offer all kinds of free training, however it sounds too good to be true . . . especially when I have read the many horror stories (via a Google search) of those ex-Insurance Agents that worked for State Farm and Allstate, where both companies don’t tell you up front that you MUST HAVE good personal credit in order to work for them, then when you go to work for them as an agent, you will have to pay “x” amount of money per month for all of the expenses to work in an office (i.e. training, your desk, use of office equipment, etc.). Yet both companies push agents HARD to sell! sell! sell! So if you don’t make enough sells per month to at least cover your monthly expenses of working in their office (they could care less if you have no take home money as long as you pay your monthly office expenses), they will soon terminate you. Yet some of the former agents of those 2 companies said basically nobody is standing in line to buy insurance, so their managers pretty much told the agents to badger own their family and friends, in order to drum-up business.

So I was wondering (if you have any affiliation with Bill & Diane Lampe / Lampe Companies) do you have to pay any money at any time to work for Bill & Diane Lampe / NAA company? If so, what is and how much are the extra stuff you have to pay for? Also is this company a MLM? Does their company actually sell insurance of any kind? Are there really that many leads, where this company needs to hire all of these new agents? Do they make your badger your family and friends to try to get new business?

I could not find anything on their company via searching the Better Business Bureau website either, so it seems that they have no BBB file. Yet again, this company sounds too good to be true. Yet via doing a Google search, I could not find anything negative about Bill or Diane Lampe.

NOTE: I am posting this question in a few other Yahoo Answer sections, as there does not appear to be a good category to ask this question.
WARNING!!!

Thank you for your input OBI, however you failed to disclose how much money did you have to pay up front and or how much you had to pay in order to get started working for the Lampe Companies. Plus your link does not work. However, based on your reply, it sounds like this may be another high pressure sales technique at work here and or a MLM scheme . . . when you say things like

“Now you must have a high desire in achieving financial freedom. You must be willing to work and build your organization, as well will to learn about the business so you can help your clients.“

Plus I noticed that the words “health” and “insurance” does not come up in your reply, which draws more suspicion . . . since most companies coming after your money never seem to want to talk about the product they are trying to sell, it’s all about getting money from unsuspecting people.

Normally when I hear the words “fast track” and “bootcamp”, that means that someone or some company will be trying t
